Do I have hemorrhoids? Please help!?
So a few days ago I noticed a lump just outside the opening of my anus. I thought it was a little strange but it wasn’t painful or causing me any annoyance so I figured it was nothing and went about my day. Today, however, I noticed it has gotten slightly bigger and is started to get quite painful! Hemorrhoids is usually when there are several lumps, I only have one. Could it be a small case of hemorrhoids or is it something else? Also, it has started to bleed a tiny bit…not looking good!
I have never had sex so it can’t be anything sexually transmitted, and to the best of my knowledge I haven’t done anything out of the ordinary which might cause this to happen!
I haven’t been to a doctor yet, I’m trying to get an appointment for tomorrow, but can anyone help me with this because it’s really quite scary!!

It does sound as if it is probably a haemorrhoid. These are said to form in those with poor bowel habit and who take low fibre diets. Go let your GP check it out, many do need surgery before they resolve. You may also want to discus with him some long term dietary changes.
