What is this small, hard lump at the anus?
I just found this small, hard lump, like a pimple head, at my anus. Not sure since when it was there, but i could only feel it when i am squatting down. Did a rectal examination last month, but the doctor did not find anything wrong apart from piles and fissure. Any ideas what this could be? Should i be worried?
Forgot to mention that the hard lump feels inside the skin, not on the surface.
could be just that… a small pimple or carbunkle. it could also be the beginnings of an external hemmrhoid. either way, they can come up very quickly and might not have been there last month. it’s easily diagnosed and treated. i see stuff like this all the time in my clinic.
