Blackberry is used in the treatment of hemorrhoids and various injuries of the skin and mucous membranes. Externally, it is used as an antiseptic in the treatment of angina, pharyngitis, gingivitis, for wounds and skin diseases, and for rinsing the mouth in case of inflammation of the mucous membrane. It is often used for colds, coughs and diabetes. In diabetes reduces damage of blood vessels and because of the low carbohydrate content can often be found on diabetics menu.

It is recommended for anemia, poor nutritional status, to regulate digestion, to reduce blood pressure and improve blood circulation. Enhances appetite, contributing to a better secretion of bile and urine and has a positive effects on metabolism. Iron from blackberries is a part of organic compound , and therefore easy to use. Tea from the list of blackberries is used in anemia and for strengthening the immune system.
Due to its beneficial effects, blackberry deserves to take place in the diet and not to be used only when the disease persists, but more, it can be used preventively, to prevent anemia, heart diseases, cancer, and for strengthening the immune system.
