How do people in snowy states maintain vinyl mobile-home skirting? Ice/snow falling off roof? Etc.?
I don’t have an overhang on my roof, and the snow/ice falls off, piles up, and gets so heavy it pushes in against the skirting. Also, I have no cement pad under the trailer, so frost heaves may pose an additional problem.
I lived in a manufactured home in MI, and never had a problem. No pad, either. Piers.
If the vinyl was insatalled properly, the is room for ground heaves, and even though the vinyl got a little pushed it, it always returned to straight when the weather wamed.
