Are there any open X-Ray Tech jobs in or around the Los Angeles area?
I recently moved back to California after living and working in South Carolina for 4 years. I am currently living in Covina and plan on moving more towards the city in a few months. I’ve had 1 interview in 2 months and the bills are piling up. If anyone knows of an Orthopedic office or Clinic that needs a Limited X-Ray Tech/M.A. (I have both certifications) I’d appreciate the help.

xxxrayguy: Its been almost 5 years since college. I’ve looked into it and I will have to completely start over, including being put on a 5-7 year waiting list. And I can’t pay for college if I’m not working. But I see what you’re saying. A full license beats a limited hands down.
If you are not registered with ARRT then most people will not hire you and if they do, they will under pay you. Do yourself a favor and go to an accredited school and take your board exam. Registered techs make over 60k in most states and wont have trouble finding work.

Check around and local hospitals. Some have Xray programs that are accredited and very cheap. You should have a leg up on other applicants due to previous experience.
