39 weeks pregnant and really stressed out…?
I’m due any day now with our second daughter and while I’m excited that our baby is about to be here, I am so stressed out with things going on in our (my husband and myself) lives that I’m hoping it doesn’t cause any complications with my labor/delivery. A few examples of my stress…my husband works constantly with the family business (his side) and they treat him so unfairly. While my daughter and I have health insurance he doesn’t and he has some work related injuries (he does mechanic work) that his family will not pay and the medical bills are piling up and we can’t afford to pay them and he doesn’t want to get his family in trouble. We have a 2 1/2 yr. old daughter who is very active and I’m a stay at home mom and I’m trying to keep her happy and play outdoors with her but it’s getting harder…I get no help around the house as far as cleaning or anything…I’m just so frustrated. Anyone else stressed out this close to delivery? Thanks for any replies.
Wow. You’re going through almost exactly what I’m going through. Although I’m not married, my boyfriend and I live together. I’m on state insurance but my bf has none. He got in a motorcycle accident two weeks ago and had surgey for an olcraenon fracture and a broken radius last week. We will be paying out of our butts for the next ten years. I have an 18 month old son who runs rampant. On top of everything, my boyfriend and I are having serious relationship problems and I’m considering moving back in with my parents. I, too, have been worried about possible labor complications due to stress. I’m currently 40 weeks and one day pregnant. I just know what you’re going through and I’m really sorry. It’s extremely hard. Especially when money is tight. Some days I wonder if I’ll get through this with my sanity. I don’t know if you’re religious or not, but I just keep telling myself God will not give me more than I can handle.
I’ll keep you in my prayers. Just remember that everything is temporary- this too will pass! Hang in there. You sound like an excellent mom.
