Will Hemroids Go Away Over Time, Without Surgery?
Just wonder if hemmoroids disappear with time. I know the pain and discomfort DOES. But does the physical lump itself? If so, then how long will it be before it most likely disappears?
The physical lump is actually a swollen vein bulging into the area. Many time, they do go away with treatment like ointments and high-fiber diet. Another treatment is banding, where a tight band is placed around the bulge and eventually the vein is suffoctated and dies, and the swelling subsides. It doesn’t hurt, but it sure feels uncomfortable, like you need to go all the time! Surgery is a last resort when a vein becomes thrombosed, or so large it won’t subside.
