Post partum hemorrhoids…9 weeks after c-section? Is this normal?
I was induced but ended up with a c-section 9 weeks ago and I didn’t have to push at all so i don’t think these are labor induced hemorrhoids. I am not constipated and my stools aren’t even hard. I don’t have to strain for them to come out but I have bleeding every time I have a bowel movement and awful unbearable pain during and after the bowel movement for a few hours or more. It hurts so bad to go that I cry. I have no idea what could have caused this but I am worried because the pain is really really bad.
Is this normal post-partum? I have tried Preparation H pads and cream and nothing seems to work. It is also causing me to not be able to pass gas.. its like it wont come out like it’s trapped. I will not have insurance for 30 more days so I can’t really go to a doctor. I was just wondering if any of you mommies experienced this on this level, if it’s normal, and what I can do for it.
Straining is just one of the causes of hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids may develop during pregnancy due to the pressure put on the veins in the rectal area. The baby is additional weight and is pressing on the veins. Obesity is another cause of hemorrhoids. Furthermore, if there is a history of hemorrhoids in your family, you may have genetic predisposition to weak veins. Several things are weakening our veins, like acid/alkaline imbalance (body pH), Vitamin B6 deficiency, and weak veins are more prone to develop hemorrhoids. Acid/alkaline imbalance is very common between our western diet. It is not just enough to eat fruits and vegetables, but it is as well important to avoid soda, coffee, black tea and drink a good quality water (with a pH 7.5 or higher) and green tea.
I got hemorrhoids with my first child and continue having them with the other 3. I have tried all kinds of prescription drugs as well as natural treatment options, just to get some short term (always welcome) relief. Then, I found Rue Care Oil, and my troubles were gone. You can get it online.
