We've come across an exciting solution for people wanting to get rid of hemorrhoids or piles as its commonly known. Holly Hayden, who once was a sufferer of hemorrhoids, has completed her study on how to get rid of hemorrhoids, and has written a tell-all report to called H-Miracle.

Holly had tried everything possible and nothing worked. She then decided to try a home remedy which her grand mother told her about. This worked so Holly wanted to pass on the informtation to people who suffer from the embarrassing problem of piles.

Can rubber band be removed after Rubber Band Ligation for Hemorrhoids?

I had rubber band ligation for a small internal hemorrhoid yesterday and it hurts so bad, like the feeling of a stabbing knife inside. I had to get prescribed to vicodin. Everytime the Vicodin wears off it starts to hurt and throb and then slicing pain. The surgeon told me that the rubber band can’t be removed unless I get surgery and said my pain should go away today but It’s not getting better. Anyone ever have the band removed after the procedure? Anyone have excruciating pain after the procedure but then got better? Please help, i’m hurting so bad!

Your doctor was correct, and it would take a surgical procedure to remove the band. It is a painful process, and one day post procedure, it’s not a real surprise that you are needing heavy duty pain relief. Give it another 24 hours to settle down. The band is cutting off the blood circulation to the hemorrhoid, which then will basically die and fall off, or out depending on how you define it. The region was no doubt pretty sensitive before the procedure was done, and the procedure didn’t exactly do anything to change that immediately. And yes, pain is part of that. You would not care for the surgery to actually remove it any better though, trust me. Some of my patients liken the removal process to having had broken glass installed. That’s why it’s best not to let them get to the point that surgery is the only option for dealing with it. You will want to keep matters really soft for the next week or so, and not strain at all to pass stool. If you didn’t get a stool softener along with the Vicodin, you will want to get one. You would also want to add a glass of drinkable fiber mix to your morning routine. If you think it hurts now, you will not be impressed by the pain caused by being constipated at all. Sorry, for now you just have to stay sunny side up in the world, and take your pain meds.
