Two mature eggs, but did I only release one?
I have been on Gonal f injections from D7 and is known to ovulate on D12 of my cycle. So my Doc gave me the Ovidrel injection on D11 since I had two mature eggs, left 22mm & right 20mm.
But I ovulated before the predicted time, i.e. on D12 as I normally do. (I can feel ovulation pain and when I did U/S it showed that I had released only one egg, the left 22mm. The right 20mm was still there.
My question is whether I would release the other egg on my right side on CD13 according to Ovidrel injection (Ovidrel triggers ovulation btwn 24-36 hrs)
And also can I use a sitz bath cos I have terrible hemorrhoids and a fissure. Will it be bad since I’ve done an IUI recently?
Hi i don’t think there is anyway of knowing if they both released unless you end up having twins that’s what the hospital told me but am not a 100per sure tho. Also 1 egg is enough to get pregnant as last month i had 2 but 1 wasn’t mature enough so i only released 1 and i got pregnant but sadly had a miscarriage that was my 3rd month of trying using gonal-f but that month i refused the iui because i new i was ovulating before i had the iui i normally ovulate less then 24hrs after the ovidrel injection. Also the hospital told me when i did have the iui the other 2 times that i could just carry on like normally so am sure you would be fine. Good luck
