I had my son 6 weeks ago, and still reaping the awesome hemorrhoid benefits from it. Your doctor should have given you Colace or a generic substitute as a stool softener for you. If not, call and get one, it may not be as helpful as before labor, but will help out a bit. Castor oil is a big no-no, could pass to your baby and give them the poohs, plus you don’t wanna be vomiting and diarrhea and postpartum, yuck. Also try the tucks or preparation h pads with witch hazel in them, so help ease the pain, they work a little for me.
