24M, blood in stool and other symptoms?
24M, I have had 3 episodes bright red blood coming out right after a BM. I have tenderness in my left side radiating into my back. My history of other symptoms include weight loss, nightsweats, anxiety. My doc did the finger test and ruled out fissures & hemorrhoids and anything obvious. Any ideas on what this may be?
Get a colonoscopy ASAP that should answer your question. I would not hesitate or procrastinate.
I can tell you your bleed is in the lower bowel because of the color. Digested blood is black w/coffee ground consistancy so… the longer the blood is in the bowel (higher up) the darker the stool.
