Can holding in your poop too long cause you to have a bloody stool after wards?
I was out shopping and had to go poo but I held it in until I got home b/c I hate using public restrooms. When I finally get home and go poo, I found a little bit of bright red blood in the toilet w/ my poo. But this has happened before, so I wasn’t too worried. Then I went pee awhile later and wiped my butt and there was blood. I kept pushing a little and it kept coming out, then it stopped. And then it happened again after I took a bath. That has never happened to me before, so what could be the issue? I’ve heard about hemorrhoids or an infection or possibly colon cancer, but the last time I went to the doctors they put that scope up my butt and gave me suppositories, and that was not fun. I’m hoping someone has an answer for me.
