Is It common for a Teenager to have a hemorrhoid/hernia?
Im 15, and im pretty sure i have a hemorrhoid. After straining hard in the bathroom, it felt like i pulled a muscle down there. After sleeping, most of the pain went away. But after moving around, some of it came back. Now, the only thing i feel it some itching and minor pains, i dare not try to go to the bathroom unless i really need to. Also, i just discovered ive been going to the bathroom wrong for about 5-6 years. (turns out, i pushed my rectum out a little, but not far, so i could go. It didnt hurt, but that is probably a cause, it never did hurt, until i strained really hard 4 days ago.) Im going to the doctor, ive made amends that it may be fine. Just some cream i guess, but i hate going to the doctor about this type of stuff
the weird thing is, people say how you go to the bathroom determines how healthy you are, well ive been checked up many times with the doctor, blood pressure, weight and all the basics, and you says im healthy. Maybe its just my diet
No, it’s not normal!!
As well as the defecation shouldn’t occur by hard straining as you said. Visibly, you’re constipated and with or without hemorrhoids you have to treat this problem. Internal hemorrhoids are possible but the only way to ascertain that is by proctoscopy, but in your case I advice you now to eliminate the constipation first and then see…..
