Anal Surgery Recovery Time?
I had some perianal warts removed about 2 1/2 weeks ago. The pain is almost completely gone, but unfortunately the wound still remains. I had alot of small warts in an area about half the size of your pinky finger so the doctor basically just burned that entire area off. It seems like its going to take a long time to heal since the anus is a mucus membrane and all. Kind of hard to let the air get at it.
Anyone had this procedure, or a similar procedure – say removal of hemroids, or anal fistulas – or known someone who has had this done? How long was it before their wound was completely healed?

Time of healing depends on a number of factors like ur age, general state of health, presence of diseases like diabetes ( would slow the process), state of ur immune system etc.
2 1/2 weeks should b enough 4 complete healing. Should see ur doc..
