How do you remove powdered infant formula from carpet?
My 2 year old thought it would be fun to dump a can of her little sister’s baby formula on the carpet. What should I do? I know that if I wet it, it’s going to turn into a nasty paste. A vacuum maybe? Then wet it and scrub? I’m at a total loss. I’ve scooped up as much of the loose piles as possible, now I’m faced with the stuff that’s ground into the carpet. It’s bad…really bad.
Pore a little oxiclean dissolved in warm water onto the stains to make them wet and then press a white towel on it. Let set for a few hours and the stain will be gone. I have used this for many stains and it WORKS. I recently tried soaking my nightgown overnight in oxiclean dissolved in water to get out hair dye and it WORKED. now I don’t have to throw away my clothes!
