What can I do about this constipation and hemorrhoids? (serious, coherent answers only, please)?
I’ve been constipated for the past month or so. I’m pretty sure it’s the Wellbutrin my psych just added to my meds about a month ago. I can’t discontinue the med. I’ve been using Benefiber (for fiber intake) and colace (stool softener) and increased water intake since it started, without much help. I strain very hard without any success. I tried drinking mineral oil and senna laxatives, and I’ve been having to give myself an enema even just to go at all, and even then, I have to manually PULL the stool out (very hard, dark green clumps that are pretty small–seem small enough that I should be able to pass) with gloves on of course, and there is a LOT of yellow-green mucus in my stool that passes easily. The hemorrhoids I had at first were pretty manageable, but now there’s one that is HUGE (from the top of anus to bottom of vagina), looks bright pink and is excruciatingly painful. i used to be able to push it back in, no problem, but now it won’t go and is too painful to even touch
magnesium citrate. It comes in liquid form. I suggest cherry.. Doc had me on morphine. I got so ill from not being able to go I went to the hospital.. now I keep a bottle in my fridge… works wonders. stay close to the toilet!!!.
