Are these Hemorrhoids? Itch like poison ivy and bleed.?
I have several “bumps” just inside my anus. They itch like poisen ivy, honestly. They bleed. Sorry, but this is very graphic: I have had to scratch so intensly; with toilet paper I dig, and feel the bumps and itch so hard it almost upsets my stomach. But, it “hurts so good”. You know what I mean? It is such a relief, I can only compare to scratching poisen ivy!!!
There is one big one (feels like the size of a five year old’s small finger nail). There are about 3 or 4 others. They bleed bright red.
I think these are probably hemorrhoids, but I’ve searched several times online using “anal itch”, and “anal bleeding”, and they mention hemorrhoids, and things like warts, diverticulosis, Shigella, ulcerative colitis, Crohns disease, etc..
I know I have to see a Dr., but putting it off as long as possible because of insurance reasons.
Any thoughts?
What you describe sounds a lot like hemorrhoids. Until you see the doctor you can use Preparation H or Tucks hemorrhoid pads to relieve the itch and burning. Please see your doctor soon though.
