Do thongs cause hemorrhoids?
my wife and my cousin are having an argument about whether thongs cause hemorrhoids or not….well here is the question of the year…..
do they??
i dont see why they would. i work at a gastroenterologist and i know that hemorrhoids grow or generate from the insde, and if they get bad enough they can also form on the outside. but i dont see how thongs could cause that. hemorrhoids are caused by straining while having a bowel movement, or sitting on the toilet too long while attempting to have a bowel movement.
